Great Britain take Davis Cup lead
• Colin Fleming and Ken Skupski win doubles
• Lithuania fight back after opening love set
Colin Fleming and Ken Skupski put Great Britain into a 2-1 lead over Lithuania in their Davis Cup clash thanks to a four-set doubles win in the Group Two tie in Vilnius.
Lithuania captain Remigijus Balzekas had hinted he could give a debut to 15-year-old Lukas Mugevicius, but in the end he opted for Laurynas Grigelis and Dovydas Sakinis – hardly veterans at 18 and 17 respectively.
The British pair got off to a strong start against Grigelis and Sakinis, but the hosts upped their game and in the end ‘Flemski’ were relieved to come through 6-0 6-7 7-5 6-3.
